Looking forward to Camping!

Quick one tonight, sleepy.

Very happy to be in the weekend!  Tomorrow we have music class, grocery shopping, attempting to plant some new plants (yes, I purchased a few more), and finding our camping equipment.  In the evening we will head to Brentwood for a wedding reception - appetizers and cocktails.  This is for relatives of Kevin's who were recently wed in Maui.  It'll be a lovely event - and they were kind enough to come to Olivia's baby shower too, so it's nice to feel like we're reciprocating. :)

Olivia is doing well.  She had a little fever earlier this week and was sent home early on Wednesday.  When we picked her up at 2:30, she was clearly not herself - not very animated and her color was off.  Thursday she stayed home with Auntie Karen, which was a load off for Kevin and me, and we were able to get our work hours in.... and I had a little extra time to stop by the nursery on the way home to pick up those extra plants.... interestingly enough, I'm not sure Kevin has noticed them yet - he hasn't said anything and I bought like 13 plants!

By Friday morning (today), Olivia was all better.  According to Miss Cinnamon, she as a totally hoot today at daycare.  There were two other kids just crying their eyes out, and Olivia was sitting between them clap-clap-clapping away!  She was loving to bang the drums too.  I love that little girl.  We went on a little walk this evening which was when she finally fell asleep.

We're very much looking forward to our Anniversary camping trip in Big Sur.  I just hope we can find all our equipment without too much trouble.  The location should be lovely - Limekiln State Park.  50 miles south of Monterey along Highway 1.  No dogs for this trip.

I guess that's all I have for the moment.  Need to rest my eyes for a bit.
